A unique life experience
What is solidarity leave?
You participate in an international mission of your choice related to the protection of biodiversity thanks to your “Eco-Don” to Sens Solidaires which will be in large part transferred to the project for which you are committed.
This donation is essential for the continuation of the project on the long term because it allows us to renew the equipment, to pay and train the field staff, to contribute to the coordination and the follow-up by Sens Solidaires. Our team is made up of graduates in international solidarity and in the protection of biodiversity.
We have chosen to limit the number of missions to ensure a regular follow-up of the projects. As a volunteer on a short mission, you will help professionals in the field of nature protection in your free time.
You are indispensable! For our partners: sanctuaries and wildlife field committees that receive little or no public funding. You allow them to continue their work of protecting natural ecosystems that are vital for our survival and that of all species.
Through your commitment to solidarity, you will participate in the school exchanges that we are setting up in each of the border schools of the project. It is essential to awaken and transmit to future generations the environmental challenges they will have to face.
A rewarding experience awaits you!
Make your travels more meaningful
We are never done learning, we discover new things every day. By leaving, not only do you contribute to a meaningful project, but you can experience life abroad and acquire skills: improve your language skills, learn to work in a team...
For young adults, this experience is also a plus for their CV. Moreover, by going abroad, you can meet local people, immerse yourself in the culture, and learn the customs of the country.

Between 60% and 70% for our field partner
Mainly to finance your support (nights, meals and transportation in the country). Pay and train the project’s field staff. To buy, renew and repair technical equipment, patrol vehicles, maintenance of the base, fences… To finance medicines and food to treat the animals. To participate in the renting of spaces to allow the wildlife to live in freedom! To finance the reforestation and the vegetable gardens in the schools. Create communication, awareness and information materials for the local population and tourists.
Between 30 and 40% for Sens Solidaires
Your “ecodon” also allows us to meet the needs of our association: it contributes to the overhead costs for the assembly of the project in which you are involved, it provides the service of coordination and piloting for the follow-up of the project and allows to spread its communication.
This beautiful and meaningful project is made possible thanks to the moral and financial support of our partners.
